ABOUT ME
I’m a humanistic, relational therapist in New York who uses attachment-based and evidence-informed approaches to help clients understand and change their patterns. My work combines a secure therapeutic relationship with structured guidance and calibrated challenge. Therapy with me is active and intentional—we map patterns, explore new ways of relating, and track the shifts you’re making over time so the work feels purposeful and rooted in real change.
I specialize in attachment-focused therapy, working with clients experiencing anxious attachment, avoidant patterns, relationship anxiety, and challenges around intimacy, communication, and self-worth. I also work deeply with binge eating, emotional eating, and other avoidance-based coping strategies, which are often connected to unmet attachment needs or chronic emotional overwhelm.
Clinically, I draw from CBT, ACT, IFS-informed parts work, mindfulness-based approaches, and somatic principles, tailoring every session to your goals. I integrate evidence-based methods with a warm, attuned relational style so you experience both safety and meaningful growth.
I received my undergraduate degree from Brown University, and my clinically-focused MSW from New York University, where I centered my training on attachment, mindfulness, and evidence-based therapies. Before opening my private practice, I worked in two New York group practices, where I received additional training in CBT, IFS, attachment-based therapy, and trauma-informed care, and honed my specialties in relationships, anxiety, avoidance, and emotion regulation.
“Trauma is not what happens to us, but what we hold inside in the absence of an empathetic witness.”
